Classwork - We are continuing to explore Compound Events of Probability. We spent a little time discussing the "open middle" problems on the homework.
Homework - Tuesday's problems. Classwork - After going over Friday's homework, and collecting it we discussed the new HW sheet and the "open middle" problems that are on it. Today in class we are working on the probability of compound events.
Homework - Monday's problems on the hw worksheet. Classwork - Today's topic was Probability Trees - another way to list out all possibilities.
Homework - Friday's problems Classwork - Homework was explained by the groups, then we finished comparing our results for the Rock, Paper, Scissors experiment vs. the theoretical probability. Today's lesson was on Probability Tables.
Homework - Thursday's problems Classwork - Students explained the homework from last night. The lesson was on Compound Independent Events (in probability).
Homework - Wednesday's problems Classwork - The quizzes were returned. Highlighted items need to be corrected on quiz corrections. The scores are on Q. In class we worked on probability in games.
Homework - Tuesday's problems on the worksheet. Classwork - We went over some of the numbers we calculated using 2, 0, 1, 7, then took the probability quiz.
Homework - Find 12 more numbers using 2, 0, 1, 7. Classwork - Review for Quiz - which is tomorrow!
Homework - use the digits 2, 0, 1, 7 to create 12 numbers from 1-100. Complete Directions were explained in class yesterday. Classwork - the groups explained how they solved the puzzle homework. We continued estimating using sample size with pairs discussing how they should do it and making an estimate, then different groups shared their strategies.
Homework - Reflection on the Counting Trees Activity - Individual vs. Group Classwork - After having students explain their thinking on the homework from Friday we started working on a problem that had us sampling and estimating to figure out how many trees were in a large area, since counting all of them would not be practical!.
Homework - Logic puzzles worksheet - front side only. Work for 20 minutes, if you don't finish all of them that is okay. |
