Classwork - today we did our first day of math testing in Computer Lab 37
Homework - none Classwork - today we had a partner quiz on Volume and Surface area of Prisms.
Homework - the back side of the review sheet from yesterday Classwork - today we found what cross sections of 3-D objects would look like.
Homework - new review worksheet, just the front side. Classwork - today we solved problems using surface area and volume of prisms
Homework - back side of review sheet handed out yesterday. Classwork - Today we reviewed surface area and volume of prisms and then worked on volume of pyramids. Here is a link of a good visual representation to see the formula of V = 1/3 Bh www.youtube.com/watch?v=OUDjY6vJ8pw
Homework - The front side of the review worksheet given in class today. Classwork - today we worked on finding the volume of rectangular and triangular prisms, using the formula V = Bh, where B is the area of the shape of the base, so it differs if the base is a square or triangle! The h is the height of the object, when it is standing on the Base.
Homework - Friday's problems Classwork - Today we continued finding surface area of rectangular prisms, drawing the nets of the "boxes".
Homework - Thursday's problems Classwork - Today we worked on finding the surface area of rectangular prisms from nets and "boxes". We will continue with this tomorrow.
Homework - Wednesday's problems Classwork - we used the Winbooks and did some review problems to get used to them for the CAASPP testing. The Unit 7 Geometry tests were returned and discussed.
Homework - Test corrections and Tuesday's homework from the review worksheet. Classwork - Today we went to the computer lab and played Polygraph on Desmos. If you would like to play this at home go to student.desmos.com and used these codes: V9344 for the Basic Quadrilaterals; AZV62 for Shapes Bucket; and 4RAMS for the Triangles.'
